The now famous European amusement park with almost 15 million visitors in 2015 and nearly 60 attractions, located near Paris, consists of 2 theme parks, 7 hotels and one Golf and extends on 22km2 for the happiness of the young to the old.
As part of the development of its international sales, our client wanted to implement a multi-payment solution at the heart of its ticket and package sales process. Indeed, many countries have their own payment systems, such as iDEAL, BanContact or Paypal.
Following a process of design and selection of the technological partner that lasted more than a year, Sneakers & Jackets has been entrusted with this project to the strategic stakes for the development of the turnover of foreign visitors. We had been confronted several times with this matter, for different clients and sectors, where our technical and human know-how enabled us to respond to the issues quickly, in a constructed and relevant manner. To meet the demand for rapid implementation, our responsibility was two-fold.
An obligation: to secure the project
Initially, we implemented a robust methodology with all stakeholders to monitor and control budget, planning, quality, risks and their mitigation. We also set up governance and animated the project bodies, put in place relevant indicators and dashboards of steering and regularly communicated the progress of the project to senior management. Our ability to manage both human, technological and project aspects in an approach of openness and agility allowed us to be relevant at all stages of the project.
Cross-functional coordination and technical expertise
On the other hand, our external view, our past experiences and our expertise enabled us to control the technical aspects and the coordination of the internal and external interlocutors. We have thus prepared and piloted all the actions, from the implementation monitoring to the performance tests of the many bricks of the solution, and finally to a gradual, controlled and seamless production.
A successful mission! Nowadays, the different online sales platforms allow the purchase of tickets and packages using numerous payment methods that are alternative to the debit card payment, thus multiplying the turnover generated internationally.
